John Mueller from Google has said it again that there is no need to worry about keywords or words in the URLs. He said this in response to a question posed to him on Twitter. He mentioned that there is no need to think about keywords or words in the URL. In fact, in most cases, the users do not even notice the URLs. It was said in reference to a video put up by Matt Cutts in the year 2009 that claimed keywords plays a really small role in the rankings of a website. In the year 2017, John Mueller had said that keywords present in the URLs are really over-rated and it was a small factor in ranking back in the year 2016.
