Google has announced that they will shut down their URL shortener service known as goo.gl on March 30, 2019 followed by a complete closure by 2019. Google first launched this on December 2009 and less than ten years later it’s going to close down the service.
goo.gl was initially used for Google Toolbar and Feedburner. Now it’s widely used and popular tools for publishers, marketing, and branding agencies.
