There are various differences between traditional media and social media. Firstly, social media has a wider reach than the conventional approach, which is directed to a targeted audience. Secondly, social media rates higher in versatility because the content is editable after posting; whereas, content in traditional methods cannot be modified after publication. Thirdly, immediate results are witnessed with social media and the results are delayed through the traditional ways. Fourthly, social networking is two-ways and traditional marketing is one-way. Lastly, the data of traditional media is more accurate as compared to social marketing.
