Trump warns Twitter, Facebook, and Google over spreading fake news

Written by

US President Donald Trump stated during a press meet it the Oval office that social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook along with Google are instrumental in spreading fake news.

He warned the platforms to be careful as it is not fair to do that to people. He also twitted that the search algorithms of Google are made to shush out the conservative opinions. The search results that you get on typing ‘Trump News’ are all fake and rigged.

Trump blamed that the majority of the news came from the Left-wing media and the Republican and fair media voices are silenced. Trump’s claims were based on an unscientific study by a conservative blog named PJMedia.

Google denied any such claim and said that its algorithms provide the most relevant results according to search queries and that has nothing to do with political ideologies or favoritism.
